What Is Optical Carry?
Most eyewear owners spend their time thinking about lenses, coatings and cleaning. Far less attention is given to what happens when glasses are removed.
Throughout the day, eyewear is repeatedly taken off, put down, picked up, switched, carried and moved between environments. Desks, tables, pockets, bags and car interiors all become temporary places for glasses to rest.
Optical Carry is dedicated to this overlooked part of eyewear ownership: the tools and habits that help owners keep their glasses accessible, organised and close at hand throughout the day.
The Moments Between Wearing
Many eyewear-related frustrations occur during periods of transition.
Glasses are left behind in restaurants. Reading glasses disappear between rooms. Sunglasses are balanced on heads, placed in pockets or left on tables. Premium frames are often moved from place to place without any consistent system.
Optical Carry exists to make those transitions easier.
