  • The second temple remains outside the loop.
  • The eyewear is carried during the period between wearing and returning it to the face.
  • Remove the eyewear before changing the necklace adjustment.
The Signature is a carrying method for the period between wears. It is not presented as protective storage, scratch protection, fall prevention or an anti-loss device.

Frame Suitability

Check how The Signature works with your eyewear.

The Signature was developed with thicker acetate-style glasses and sunglasses in mind. Eyewear shapes and frame thicknesses vary, so suitability depends on the individual frame.

Before regular use, look at how your own folded temple sits within the Signature Loop and where the frame makes contact.

Very thin wire frames may be less suited to the loop. With a fine frame, the frame or lens may come into contact with the metal Signature Loop.

Questions about using The Signature.

Product-specific answers covering setup, adjustment, frame suitability, dimensions and everyday use.

What is The Signature Eyewear Necklace?

The Signature is Barroccu & Co's first Optical Carry eyewear necklace. It is worn independently from the eyewear and uses a central Signature Loop to carry glasses or sunglasses during periods when they are not being worn.

How do I put The Signature on?

Place The Signature over your head with the Signature Loop positioned at the front. Your eyewear remains separate from the necklace while the glasses are being worn.

How does the rear sliding adjuster work?

The Signature has a single sliding adjuster at the rear. Move the adjuster to fine-tune where the Signature Loop sits against the body. Remove eyewear from the loop before making an adjustment.

Which part of my glasses goes through the Signature Loop?

One folded temple of the eyewear passes downward through the open centre of the Signature Loop. The second temple remains outside the loop.

Should I fold my glasses before placing them through the loop?

Yes. Fold the eyewear first, then guide one folded temple downward through the open centre of the Signature Loop.

Do both temples pass through the Signature Loop?

No. Only one folded temple passes through the Signature Loop. The second temple remains outside the loop.

How should the eyewear rest while being carried?

Once one folded temple has been placed through the Signature Loop, allow the eyewear to rest naturally. Check how your particular frame sits and where it makes contact with the loop.

How do I remove the eyewear and return it to wear?

Lift the folded temple out of the Signature Loop, unfold your eyewear and return it to your face. The Signature remains independent from the eyewear while the glasses are being worn.

Which frame styles are most suitable?

The Signature was developed with thicker acetate-style glasses and sunglasses in mind. Eyewear varies in shape, thickness and contact points, so suitability should be checked with the individual frame.

What should thin-wire-frame wearers know?

Very thin wire frames may be less suited to the Signature Loop. With a fine frame, the frame or lens may come into contact with the metal loop. Check the interaction with your own eyewear before use.

Can The Signature be used with reading glasses?

The Signature can provide a carrying place for reading glasses between periods of wear, provided the individual frame is suitable for the Signature Loop. Frame shape and thickness should be checked rather than assuming universal compatibility.

Can The Signature be used with sunglasses?

Yes, The Signature was developed with thicker acetate-style glasses and sunglasses in mind. Individual sunglasses vary, so suitability depends on the particular frame.

Is every eyewear frame compatible?

No universal compatibility claim is made. Eyewear differs in frame thickness, shape and contact points. Check how your individual frame rests within the Signature Loop before regular use.

Is the necklace length adjustable?

The Signature measures 46.5 cm overall and has a single rear sliding adjuster that fine-tunes the wearing position. Remove eyewear from the loop before adjusting the necklace.

What are the product dimensions?

The Signature measures 46.5 cm overall. The braided nylon cord is 5 mm in diameter. The Signature Loop measures 31 mm across its internal width and 38 mm in overall height.

How much does The Signature weigh?

The current stated product weight is approximately 23.6 g.

Is The Signature a glasses chain or glasses cord?

The Signature works differently from a traditional attached glasses chain or cord. It is worn independently from the eyewear. When the glasses are removed, one folded temple is deliberately placed through the central Signature Loop.

Does The Signature secure the glasses or prevent loss?

The Signature is a way to carry eyewear between periods of wear. It is not described as an anti-loss, security or fall-prevention device.

Does The Signature protect eyewear from scratches or damage?

No protective or scratch-prevention claim is made. The Signature provides a way to carry suitable eyewear between periods of wear; it should not be treated as protective eyewear storage.

What comes with The Signature?

The product includes one all-black Signature Eyewear Necklace and one black Barroccu & Co drawstring storage pouch measuring approximately 8 × 10 cm.

Where can I watch the demonstration?

The short demonstration is embedded near the top of this official guide. The illustrated five-step instructions immediately below it explain the same routine in detail.

When will The Signature be available to purchase?
