The unique formulation of the Barroccu & Co microfibre cloth for glasses far surpasses conventional cloths, effortlessly removing grease, dirt, and moisture from even the most sophisticated lens coatings.
Each cloth begins its journey in collaboration with a specialist microfibre factory, where a base fabric is woven from a polyester/nylon composite yarn. The fibres are then chemically treated to open and split them, creating finer strands with air pockets that lift and trap particles away from surfaces.
Each microfibre measures just 0.1 decitex, making it exceptionally soft, flexible, and gentle on delicate coatings. A special shrinking process increases the fabric density by up to 40%, producing a larger cleaning surface area and outstanding particle removal performance.
Thanks to the hydrophilic properties of nylon, the capillary effect, and the dense fabric structure, these cloths are highly absorbent and perfectly suited for sensitive applications: from luxury eyewear and camera lenses to optical instruments, diamonds, and other delicate surfaces.

I created these cloths originally for myself — after decades in film and photography, I couldn’t find a lens cloth that truly delivered the clarity and performance I needed.
When I realized the cloths I designed were too good to keep to myself, I decided to share them with the world. Each Barroccu & Co cloth reflects the same attention to detail and dedication to performance I demand in my own work.
