Glasses Cleaning Cloths with Artwork
A glasses cleaning cloth does not have to be a small, anonymous square of grey fabric. Barroccu & Co combines oversized optical-grade microfibre with original artwork to create something practical that you can also enjoy using.
Barroccu & Co cloths measure 43 × 30 cm. Each is washable and reusable, supplied with a protective storage pouch and produced in a choice of limited-edition designs created from original artwork.
Function & design
Why should an everyday optical cloth be visually forgettable?
Cleaning cloths are normally treated as purely functional objects. They are often small, plain and easy to lose amongst everything else carried with your glasses.
Barroccu & Co takes a different approach. The optical-care function remains central, but the large fabric surface also provides space for original artwork.
The result is an optical cloth designed to be used regularly rather than hidden away: a practical 43 × 30 cm format combined with limited-edition visual design.

The artwork used across the Barroccu & Co cloth collection was created by photographer, filmmaker and artist Joann Randles.
Her photographic and visual-art background informs the strong colour, pattern and composition found across the collection.
Rather than adding a decorative motif to an otherwise conventional lens cloth, the artwork is treated as part of the identity of the product itself.
Blossom of Colour
From Dutch tulip fields to an optical cloth.
Blossom of Colour began with an original photograph taken at Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse, Netherlands, during the spring flowering season.
The reds, pinks and yellows of the tulip fields were transformed into a mosaic-like abstract artwork, allowing the colours of the original scene to become the visual foundation of the finished cloth.
It is one example of how Barroccu & Co uses the large format of its optical cloths as a canvas rather than treating design as an afterthought.

Optical care first
The artwork changes. The optical-care format does not.
Ferns, Maple, Cacti and Blossom of Colour are visually different, but they use the same Barroccu & Co optical-grade microfibre format.
Choosing one design rather than another is therefore a matter of visual preference rather than a claim that one artwork cleans lenses better than another.
All four designs: 43 × 30 cm, optical-grade microfibre, washable and reusable, with a protective storage pouch supplied with each cloth.
Beyond the artwork
A full-size optical-care tool.
The artwork may be the first thing you notice, but the cloth underneath it is designed around everyday optical care.
At 43 × 30 cm, there is substantially more fabric available to fold and rotate through during cleaning than with a small conventional spectacle cloth.
The cloth can be washed when residue accumulates, and the supplied pouch gives it a dedicated place between uses.
