Size is one part of good lens care. Remove loose grit before wiping and follow your eyewear or lens manufacturer’s cleaning guidance. A larger cloth does not make dusty lenses safe to dry-wipe.

Keep the cloth ready for its next use.

Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle. Avoid fabric softener and bleach, and allow the cloth to air-dry fully. Wash when it becomes oily, visibly dirty or starts redistributing residue.

How large is the glasses cleaning cloth?

Every individual Barroccu & Co Optical Care cloth measures approximately 43 × 30 cm, or 16.9 × 11.8 inches. The cloths in the Three-Cloth Collection use the same full-size format.

Why choose a large cloth rather than a small case cloth?

A larger cloth provides more material to hold and more clean surface to fold and rotate into use. It suits people who prefer a generous working area for everyday glasses care. The right choice also depends on how you carry, wash and use your cloth.

Do the four designs clean differently?

No. Ferns, Maple, Blossom of Colour and Cacti share the same 43 × 30 cm optical-grade microfibre specification. Choose by artwork. Every individual cloth includes its own matching pouch.

Can I use it on coated glasses and sunglasses?

The cloth is intended for optical lens care, including coated eyewear. Follow the cleaning instructions supplied with your particular lenses. Remove loose grit before wiping, use a clean section and gentle pressure, and wash the cloth when contaminated.

Can the same cloth be used for glasses, screens and camera lenses?

It can be used on suitable optical surfaces where the manufacturer recommends microfibre. Keep separate clean sections, or dedicated cloths, to avoid transferring contamination between surfaces. Camera lenses and specialist displays may require their own cleaning method; check the manufacturer’s guidance first.

Is the cloth washable, and how long will it last?

Yes. Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle without fabric softener or bleach, then air-dry. Useful life depends on use and care rather than a fixed replacement date. Replace a cloth that is damaged or remains contaminated after washing. See the washing guide for the full routine.
